So you’ve just heard those dreaded words you have cancer, we’ve been there and it was one of the worst days of our lives.
We can completely sympathize and empathize with you, and we are so glad you found us, that means you are looking for ways you can tackle your cancer and you are ready to take your healing to the next level. So we want to share 3 things to do from here on, but don’t stop at these three, there are so many other options out there, so keep researching. Okay, let’s get started.
Number 1:
Positive attitude!
All healing hinges on a positive attitude! This is something you need to maintain throughout this whole journey you are about to embark on. You need to know/believe that you will get through this, a confident attitude creates a positive effect on a cellular level. If you want to learn more about attitude and how it affects your body at the cellular level go check out Joe Dispenza.
You might have days where having a positive attitude seems completely out of reach, and that’s okay. Have your meltdown, cry and scream whatever you need to do get it out of your system, and then get up and keep going.
Number 2:
Stop awfulizing it!
Sorry, that might be harsh, and you may not want to hear that right now which is completely understandable but keep reading. Yes, you need to give yourself some time to process what is happening but in the end, you have two choices. Number one is deciding that you are going to beat this ugly disease, remember cancer is a word NOT a sentence. Number two, figure out how you will do it which can be a combination of things that you will figure out along the way.
Number 3:
Eliminate sugar!
Cancer loves sugar that is its main source of food so starve it, eliminate all processed sugars and limit your natural sugar intake. Sugar negatively impacts just about every organ system in the body and it hinders the bodies’ immune function and right now you need that to be running at its best.
Natural sugars are the ones you will find in fruits and veggies and some are quite high for example pineapple, banana, grapes. Added sugars are found everywhere even food that we think of as “healthy”, but they can also be hiding in hygiene products, medications, and vitamins. Some examples include granola, yogurt, salad dressings, condiments, whole grain bread, protein powders, toothpaste, even vitamins!
Sugar has many different names, and you can find a list of some of those names over here.
There are so many things you can do to work towards a cancer-free lifestyle these are only three that in our humble opinion are pretty dang important.
