Juices are a great opportunity to pack in the nutrients without having to eat a ton of veggies.
Smoothies are very versatile and it is a great opportunity to pack in some superfoods like spirulina, chlorella, maca, matcha, turmeric, etc. To be honest, we don't really follow any specific smoothie recipe we just add in whatever we have on hand, but the recipes here will get you started.
If we follow a recipe we always add 1-2 tbsp of turmeric, 1/2 an avocado or 2 tbsp coconut oil, and a pinch of pepper. The reason for the turmeric, pepper, avocado, or coconut oil is that turmeric is a cancer-fighting superstar and the pepper and healthy fat (avocado or coconut oil) make it more bioavailable to your body.
If you overdo it on anything in particular and need to sweeten it up add some pineapple, banana, or date.
